My Life Inside Mystic Candle Shop: A Journey of Love, Work, and Wax

Running Mystic Candle Shop has become more than a business for me—it’s a part of who I am. As a 44-year-old mom, I’ve learned how to juggle life, work, and passion all at once, and this candle shop is the place where all those pieces come together.

Every candle I pour carries a bit of my heart. Some days start early, with coffee in one hand and a new scent idea in the other. On other days, I’m up late mixing colors, testing fragrances, or carefully packaging orders. This little shop lets me pour my creativity into something that brings comfort and joy to people’s homes, and that motivates me every single day.

I started making candles because I wanted to create something meaningful—something warm, something soothing, something magical. What I didn’t expect was how deeply I’d fall in love with the process. From melting the wax to choosing the perfect blend of scents, every step feels like its own small ritual.

Being a mom and a business owner can be challenging, but it has also made me stronger and more determined than ever. My kids inspire me to give my best, and my customers remind me why I continue to strive. Each order, each kind message, each returning customer gives me the spark to keep creating.
